Populus Shanghai edition of this year's Cup of Excellence, Costa Rica winning lot by our friends at Corazon de Jesús. Their excellent hard work really paid off this year as they received 1st and 3rd places in the washed category and 1st place in the natural/anaerobic category. What an amazing achievement. We were extremely fortunate to be there in person for this occasion.
 
Corazon de Jesús is owned and run by the Alvarado family; parents Jhon and Kathia, along with their children Antonio, Marilyn, Eva, Abraham, and Jhoel. They have been working toward their dream together now for 10 years in the Brunca region and have previously reached both 2nd place in the natural category (2024) and 3rd place in the washed category (2023). 
 
We were in the group of highest bidders for this lot, and are happy to represent this extremely limited lot of 45g boxes. This coffee has been roasted in our Shanghai roastery, and the majority of this lot is available only there. Ellie, our head roaster, participated in the Lujiazui coffee festival and brought home a couple of boxes of 45g each for you.
